Don’t forget that if you’re looking for something online; check out the shopping bag on the home page. When you purchase items through the stores linked to that program North County Community Food Bank gets a percentage.
Of course it is time to renew or even JOIN the A.P.P.L.E. group. These are citizens that donate $100 or more to North County Community Food Bank to help keep the program running.
When you’re getting ready for your 4th of July Celebration don’t forget to purchase your fireworks at the Battle Ground Lions booth in the Fred Meyer parking lot. Our food bank volunteers help them with this community project. As such they in turn donate a percentage to the food bank on the hours we have worked. Of course the more they sell the more the food bank will make.
We are glad to welcome aboard as new Board of Directors for the program; Fire Captain Brian Stewart with Clark County Fire and Rescue, Gilda Ciraulo who is with the Lewis River Rotary Club.
