SEMI-PRO FOOTBALL COMING TO BATTLE GROUND !
Whether you’re a football fan or a fan of fun you’ll want to mark February
27th on your calendar for that is the night Semi-pro football will be coming
to Battle Ground!
The Vancouver Vipers, a member of Southwest Washington’s Minor League Adult
Football League, will be battling the High Desert Lightening from Bend, Oregon on the field at District
Stadium (Battle Ground High School). The teams coaches are all area Pop Warner
football coaches and the players come from a wide variety of places and
backgrounds all of them with one common thread…the love of football.
The Vipers have been in existence for three years now and wanted to create an
event that would benefit the North County Community Food Bank and other local
businesses here in Battle Ground. The result will be a great night of fun and
family entertainment. The teams owners, General Manager Kevin Jacobs, Head Coach
Mike Asplund and the squad are donating the entire gate receipt to the Food
Bank. Local restaurants, stores and our hotel will also be benefiting. In
addition, every ticket purchased will automatically be entered in one of our
prize drawings at halftime.
Be there for all the fun and excitement (and help the Food
Bank too)!!

Admission: $10.00 for adults $5.00 for children (12 and under) Under 5 is free
