Low Cost Household Tips Non-Toxic Cleaners
Non-toxic cleaners
Window Washing Solution: ½ cup ammonia, 1/8 cup vinegar, 1 quart warm water.
(also good on mirrors)
Painted wall, woodwork, and Venetian blind washing solution: ½ cup ammonia, ½
cup vinegar, ¼ cup baking soda, 1 gallon warm water.
To remove paint stains from glass: wipe with hot vinegar.
Mild cleaner for waxed surfaces: 1 gallon hot water, ¼ cup sudsy ammonia, ¼ cup
vinegar, 1 tablespoon baking soda.
To remove labels from glass jars and plastics use warm salad oil.
